Microsoft Entra ID: SSO, User Provisioning, and Scheduled Enforcement

Pactly now integrates with Microsoft Entra ID for enterprise sign-in and user management, on both the web app and the Word add-in.

Microsoft Entra ID SSO

Single sign-on: Users from a connected organization sign in through your identity provider. The login page recognizes your domain from the email address and takes users straight to your organization’s sign-in, hiding the password and signup options that no longer apply. If someone from an SSO organization tries to sign up for a separate account, Pactly redirects them to sign in instead of letting a stray trial account be created.

Automatic user provisioning (SCIM): Connect Entra ID provisioning to create and deactivate Pactly users automatically as people join and leave your organization. Deactivation immediately ends the user’s sessions, and you control exactly which operations the sync is allowed to perform.

Scheduled enforcement: When you’re ready to require SSO, pick the verified domains it applies to and set a cutoff date. Before the cutoff, both password and SSO sign-in work, giving your users a grace period to switch. After it, the selected domains require a fresh SSO session, and older sessions are signed out.
