Resume an unfinished request: Closing the signing dialog or reloading the page used to lose your recipients and placed fields. Pactly now keeps that preparation in the same browser for up to 24 hours. An orange dot on Sign marks the unfinished setup, and Resume unfinished signature brings it back. Resuming never sends invitations by itself.

Send PDFs that arrive already signed or sealed: When a counterparty signs in their own e-signature tool and sends the file over, that PDF is often locked by the tool that produced it, and Pactly used to refuse it. Pactly now adds your signature as a new revision and leaves everything the earlier signature covers untouched. Where the author certified the file or restricted further signing, Pactly tells you what Adobe Acrobat will report afterwards and lets you decide whether to sign anyway. PDFs that need a password to open are still refused.
The signature request guide covers sending and resuming a request.
