Custom Views

Every time you open the contract repository, you probably look for the same things: your active contracts, items waiting for approval, or NDAs expiring this quarter. Without saved views, you’re reapplying the same filters every time.

Custom views let you save a combination of filters, columns, and sort order as a named shortcut. Click a view name, and the repository instantly shows exactly the contracts you need.

When is this useful?
Legal Counsel You handle NDAs for the APAC region. A saved view filters to NDA category + APAC jurisdiction, so you skip the 200 other contracts in the repository.
Legal Ops You need a weekly check on contracts expiring in the next 90 days. A saved view with the expiration date filter means one click instead of reconfiguring filters each Monday.
Contract Admin You triage incoming contracts. A view showing unassigned contracts sorted by date helps you assign the oldest ones first.

When you open the contract repository, Pactly shows built-in views in the sidebar depending on your role:

  • Action required - contracts that need your attention (approvals, signature requests, pending actions)
  • My active inbox - contracts assigned to you that are still in progress
  • Unassigned contracts - contracts not yet assigned to an owner
  • Contracts in my groups - contracts visible to your access groups (if you have groups assigned)

These built-in views cannot be edited or deleted. They update automatically based on the current state of your contracts.
